Tokyo Disney Resort today announced the addition of a brand-new show, Dockside Splash Remix debuting this summer, July 2nd, alongside a spread of other summer entertainment.

A New Dock Rock

The dynamic 20-minute show will invite guests to join the Disney Friends, including Mickey Mouse, in a non-stop dance fest with cool music, exciting performances, and tons of spraying water! The show will run from July 2nd-September 15th, 2025, and take place at the Dockside Stage in the American Waterfront port of Tokyo DisneySea.

More Premier Access…

For this new show, both Entry Request, a lottery-based admission system, and Disney Premier Access, a pay-per-use priority access system, will be utilized for the show, as seen in the diagram below:

Green areas represent Entry Request areas, while blue and pink represent Disney Premier Access and Japanese Resident Vacation Packages, respectively. This official diagram may look a bit odd, and you’d be right- the Entry Request area stretches out into guest walkways. The gray lines to the right indicate a bridge to cross to the Cape Cod section of American Waterfront. Tokyo Disney makes special note of this:

“There may be restrictions on passage through certain routes around American Waterfront immediately before and after the performance. Please contact a cast member on your day of visit for more information.”

Most likely, guest access to this bridge will be limited, and coming and going from the area around the S.S. Columbia may be difficult. Keep this in mind when the showtimes are released!

This may come as a disappointment to some, as the current show presenting at the Dockside Stage, “Jamboree Mickey! Let’s Dance!” does not offer DPA or Show Viewing Tickets, meaning everyone has equal chance at seeing the show with Entry Request. With the introduction of the latter two systems, the small viewing area will be extended into guest walkways to accommodate all three modes of viewing.

You Will Get Wet, You May Get Soaked!

Much in line with the other Tokyo Disney summertime offerings like “Aquatopia ‘Get Soaked’ Version”, “Splash Mountain ‘Get Soaked MAX Plus’” (yes, it sounds like iPhone naming, but it is real), and the pre-Covid Pirates! summer, these events and limited-period attraction overlays are designed to provide a cool retreat from the dreadfully hot Tokyo summers. As such, this show will be designed to get all guests not just wet, but soaked!

Goodbye, Country Bear Jamboree

With the addition of this Dockside Splash Remix at the Dockside Stage, the current show, Jamboree Mickey! Let’s Dance! will conclude its presentation on June 1st, 2025. The stage will be closed for a month to make preparations for the new entertainment offering, and to potentially add a runway to the stage, as seen in the aerial diagram above (and likely to install water cannons).
